The lighting project for Place Saint-Lambert is a continuation of the lighting plan for Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, which we designed in 2014. Our task was to support the Municipality and network operator Sibelga in implementing the lighting recommendations for this public space, which is currently being redeveloped.
As the square is identified in the lighting plan as one of the focal points of the ‘green and blue city’ (marked by plants and water), the western facade planted with trees is lit by touches of bluish light. In the centre of the square, plant motifs are projected onto the ground (replaced in winter by ice crystals).
The public lighting is also renovated to provide comfortable warm white lighting (multi-projector pole).
