“Landscapes, imperfections and resistance”
The landscape is illuminated like a painting, a pictorial composition.
The light is as close as possible to the walls, showing its textures, volumes, tones… and its imperfections, linked to the successive military constructions and the resistance of time, the latter symbolised by a ‘breath’ revealing the new illumination each evening.
The installation also makes it possible to create event scenarios (fixed or dynamic) using an infinite palette of colours, as demonstrated by the inauguration son et lumière show which retraced the history of the Citadel.
To preserve the environment, the lighting is gradually switched off in the middle of the night, limiting energy consumption.
